Cross curriculum content enriches and supports the learning areas and adds depth to student learning. In NSW students study a range of learning across the curriculum content.

Project-based learning

Students undertake a range of project based learning tasks at Ermington Public School. Previous classes have produced an incredible range of projects that relate to the school curriculum while developing and improving 21st Century learning skills; collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.

Opportunity class

Ermington Public School offers an opportunity class for Year 5 and 6 which comprise of 30 students each. Students are selected based on their school assessment scores and OC Test results from the schools in the surrounding area.

The students in the Ermington Public School opportunity classes are encouraged to integrate into the school upon selection by becoming involved in extra-curricular activities. Students follow a program based on gifted and talented principles.
