Last Wednesday, the Student Representative Council [SRC] hosted a very successful "Teddy Bears' Picnic". Students in K-6 bought a plate of food to share and their teddy bears. We all joined together for a picnic on the oval. From the mufti day we raised $460. The Bandaged Bear merchandise also proved very popular and we soon sold out. $240 was raised. [To those students who missed out, there will be other fundraisers later in the year where you will be able to buy items.] A total of $700 will be sent to 'The Children's Hospital at Westmead' to support their work with sick children.
